I’ve always connected with the brand’s focus on slowing down and finding meaning in everyday moments, so I wanted to explore what a refreshed visual direction for The Ritual of Sakura could look like.

The final asset was created on a square aspect ratio. This means whatever device you have, there is an available aspect ratio for you.
Built from a real mix of real footage, AI and hand crafted CGI; I’ve looked into the core of the Sakura sybolism for creating real and abstracted elements that tell a story.
The sakura tree symbolizes renewal and the fleeting nature of life. That idea became the foundation of the concept, shaping the transition from drifting petals into a calm, continuous flow that ultimately leads to a finished product.
