Restart a Heart
I helped produce and direct the "Restart a Heart" campaign Gospooky pushed for Snapchat and the Red Cross, IFRC. The project is based around creating an AR lens that teaches users how to perform CPR on a person in need.
Listen UpWhen everything freezes, rhythm takes over. “Staying Alive” isn’t here for nostalgia — it’s here because its tempo matches the pace of effective CPR. Around 100 to 120 beats per minute, it turns instinct into timing and timing into action. Press to the beat, keep the flow, don’t stop. Sometimes saving a life starts by hitting play.

The final product was very successful, bringing awareness and information on the subject in multiple countries. From concepting, creating and animating the 3D models, and art directing the case videos, this work made us proud.
Learn by Experience
The animations were closely realised in collaboration with IFRC to ensure that all movements are correct and accurate. The AR experience takes a step by step approach to teach you how to “Restart a Heart”. The beauty of it is that you can freely turn around the models, you can lean in closer and such, so we made it suuuper clear for your favourite normal human to understand what needs to be done. We even added a little quiz in between.
